Event Details

As Scotland comes to terms with the financial reality of the coming years there has been an extensive debate about the shape of public services in the future.  Following the publication of their report, Creative Reductions, NESTA is joining with the Scottish Policy Innovation Forum(SPIF) to explore what steps need to be taken in Scotland to radically redesign public services to meet future levels of demand and expectation.

Speakers will be Philip Rycroft (Director-General, Innovation, Enterprise and Better Regulation at Department for Business, Innovation and Skills & Former Director-General of Education at the Scottish Government) and Stian Westlake (Director of Policy and Research at NESTA) and Sue Bruce (Chief Executive Aberdeen City Council.) The event will be Chaired by Professor Jim Gallagher (Scottish Policy Innovation Forum.)

Registration will open at 10:30 with presentations starting promptly at 11:00.  The event will close at 12:45 with a buffett lunch.
